With more than 200 exhibits and attractions spread over 127 acres of lush parkland, Heritage Park Historical Village has a lot to offer both the history buff and the pleasure seeker. It’s the perfect balance between historical fact, adventure, discovery and fun that makes our take on the tale of Western Canadian settlement so unique. From spring to summer to fall, there’s no end to fun-tivities as Heritage Park.

What To Expect

The Historical Village depicts life as it was from the 1860s through the 1930s. Costumed interpreters help tell the story of the Canadian West, while guests can enjoy a variety of activities including steam train rides, a paddle-wheeler boat and an antique midway.

GASOLINE ALLEY MUSEUM – Gasoline Alley Museum is a two-level, indoor museum that tells the story of the automobile and features a rare collection of vintage vehicles, gasoline pumps, signage, and more. Gasoline Alley Museum is open year-round. Note: Gasoline Alley Museum is temporarily closed due to COVID-19 precautions. 

HERITAGE TOWN SQUARE – The Heritage Town Square area includes several unique shops, the Railway Cafe counter service restaurant and the upscale casual Selkirk full-service restaurant. This area is located outside the park gates; no park admission is required.
