This Vancouver brewing company just opened a giant taphouse and patio concept

Attention, folks! Mount Pleasant is getting another amazing patio/brewery spot, and just in time to enjoy the last leg of summer. Steamworks Brewing is setting up shop at Main and 7th, and the new spot just soft-opened last week. The neighbourhood already has a ton of options by way of patio-hopping, and this one feels like the giant cherry on top.

And we mean ‘giant’ quite literally. The new taphouse concept seats 200 people – 100 inside at the exposed brick-laden bar, and 100 outside on the patio.

The new taproom joins the brewing company’s OG Gastown brewpub location, its Burnaby brewery, and its trademark orange food truck. Although they haven’t yet announced the taproom’s official opening on socials, the new pub will be open for limited hours every day to start, as part of their soft-opening this week.

On Tuesday, August 16th, Steamworks Mount Pleasant will be open from 11:30 am to 10 pm. Between 30 rotating taps and a full kitchen – we’re sure Steamworks’ new spot is about to become a hotspot for quality chats, outdoor dining, and cold craft brews.

We’ll see you there, Vancouver!
