The air is crisp, the colours are vibrant, and a getaway is calling your name. Ste. Anne’s Spa is one of Canada’s top destination spas, and it’s as gorgeous as it is relaxing. The spa is located in Grafton, Ontario and is housed in a 1800s castle.
While it’s pretty spectacular any time of year, autumn is arguably the best time to visit. Get ready to be blown away!
Built in 1858, the spot began its legacy as a heritage fieldstone country castle and estate when it was first constructed way back in the 1800s.
It wasn’t just a spa over all these years, though. It served as a “cherished residence for several notable families—the Masseys, Jaynes, Keelers, and Blaffers—before being lovingly restored by its current owners, the Corcorans.”
A restoration started in 1981. The project transformed it into a bed and breakfast, and almost 20 years later, in 1998, some major additions came.
The additions included the stone grotto with a luxurious hot tub, plunge pool and lap pool.
Today, Ste. Anne’s Spa is an all-inclusive oasis nestled upon 500 acres, featuring walking trails, zen and tranquillity gardens, and outdoor patios.
You’re going to want to try it all, and as someone who’s been before, I recommend checking out the eucalyptus steam room, and if you’re brave, taking a plunge in the Yukon cool plunge pool. You’ll come out feeling incredible.
If you want to book an overnight stay, there are a handful of packages to choose from, including couples getaway packages.
There’s even a fall seasonal package you can take advantage of – the Autumn Glow Day Spa package, which comes with:
The bundle is priced at $304 per person on Oct. 7, 9, 13, 15 and 16, and goes up after those dates (a savings of over $140).
Treat yourself, and happy relaxing, Ontario.
Where: 1009 Massey Rd., Grafton, Ont.
