Now that meteorological summer is here, you’re probably in the mood to do a little hiking. Between waterfalls, wildflowers, and caves, Washington has many options. To make things even better, there are three State Park Free Days happening this month!
State Park Free Days happen for a variety of reasons but usually celebrate a holiday or important figure’s birthday. This month’s free days are as follows:

On these days you can visit any State Park that would normally require a Discovery Pass and get in for free! That mean’s it’s the perfect time to go through your list of places around the state that you’ve wanted to visit. Grab your friends, go solo, or go with your SO.
If your visit to a local State Park makes you want to commit to a Discover Pass, you can purchase an annual pass for $35 or a day pass for $11.50. Psst, you can even check out a Discover Pass from the Seattle Public Library.
