The Stanley Park Seawall has fully reopened after months of closure

While our city’s most iconic pool remains closed, at least one major destination is back in business! Today, the Stanley Park Seawall saw the completion of repairs to damage sustained back in January. Finally, we can enter health nut mode and do a lap down there once more!

As a quick refresher, portions of the Stanley Park Seawall were dealt heavy blows by the massive storm that came to Vancouver back in January. And since then, crews have been hard at work to repair the famous trail in time for the warmer months.

And lo and behold, they got the job done! Today, repairs were completed between Third Beach and Lions Gate Bridge, the final damaged section of the Seawall in Stanley Park. So, you can once again enjoy the most idyllic section of the world’s longest uninterrupted waterfront path. Not so bad, hey?

Of course, we’ll be keeping our ears to the ground for any news about the Kits pool reopening too! But in the meanwhile, it’s nice to know that this option is back.
