Every year, the Washington State Fairgrounds open for The Spring Fair – a celebration of all things… spring. Think of it like a calmer and slightly more chilly version of the Washington State Fair that takes place every summer. It’s well worth checking out and here’s what to expect at this year’s event.

Visitors can enjoy all their fair favorites like great entertainment, yummy fair food, wild rides, and adorable animals.

This year, you can also see ticketed events like Motorsport Mayhem, Nitro Circus: Freestyle Crew, and Plants & Pinot among others.

Some of the free events and attractions included in general admission are Racing Pigs, The Piglet Palace, DockDogs, Chainsaw Carving Invitational, and more.

Keep in mind this fair only happens for a short amount of time, taking place over two weekends in April. Tickets are available online or at the gate but it’s probably worth purchasing ahead of time to avoid a potentially long wait.

With that, enjoy and happy spring!
