North America’s first sports-inspired clubhouse just launched in Vancouver

If you enjoy mixing sports with food & drink, this new spot is for you. Sports Illustrated is launching a new Clubhouse as part of the recently formed Sports Illustrated Restaurant Group, and the first location in North America is right here in Vancouver.

Best of all? As per a recent Instagram post on Monday afternoon, the new clubhouse is officially open to the public!

The space

Created in partnership with Canada’s Define Group, the sports-inspired dining concept is the first of its kind, featuring over 4,600 square feet of space including a dining room, wrap-around-bar, lounge, and a private entertainment room for faculty, students and those looking for a technology-enabled space.

As well, the interior boasts 27 LED screens and 12 TVs throughout, created in partnership with Samsung.

Menu & info

“Whether it’s a cozy weekend dinner for families, or friends catching up over a couple of pints in our bar, everyone is welcome inside SI Clubhouse,” says Christian Bullock and Shaun Anderson of Canada’s Define Group.

The kitchen will be led by executive Chef Cameron McGowan, whose team will serve up delicious, elevated ‘West Coast cuisine,’ including a range of starters, mains, and desserts. Oh, and over 30 beers and ciders on tap, in addition to specialty cocktails, a curated wine list, and a mix of non-alcoholic options as well.

The new clubhouse is now open on UBC’s Vancouver campus from 11 am to 12 am from Monday to Friday, and from 10 am on weekends.
