Spirit Halloween is hiring Albertans for the 2024 spooky season & here’s how to apply

Pumpkin spice lattes, ghoulish decor, and costumes aren’t cheap – so it’s high time to get update your resume!

While it’s true that there is still plenty of summer fun ahead, it’s also a fact that Spirit Halloween stores in Calgary, Edmonton and around North America are already gearing up for spooky season and they’re hiring!

“Spirit Halloween’s specialty retail stores are the most comprehensive one-stop destinations for everything shoppers can imagine for Halloween,” they explain.

“Through the vast merchandise assortment and memorable visual presentation, Spirit stores provide a truly impressive, unique and unforgettable shopping experience. In addition to being a fun and interactive event for shoppers, the locations offer complete selections of costumes and accessories for infants/toddlers, children, teens and adults.”

From store management to sales associates, the iconic store is looking for fall fans to stock, set up and maintain merchandise throughout the season – but not everyone can apply!

According to their job postings, applicants must be over the age of 16, should be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds and be comfortable with walking and standing for up to 8 hours.

In addition to a pay cheque, successful candidates will also get a 30% discount on Spencer’s and Spirit Halloween merchandise, bonus opportunities, subsidized lunches and benefits packages.
