The Stable House Bistro 

Situated in South Granville on West 13th, the intimate spot is the perfect place to pop in for a glass or two of vino and some fresh, inventive bites. Plus, the outdoor patio is adorned with fairy lights with even more seating available at the adjacent public plaza.

Livia

For what is primarily a bakery, Livia’s range of housemade pasta is above and beyond anything you could dream of. Its charming interior and comfy booth seating make for the perfect spot to curl up with a book and enjoy a lovely meal and/or cocktail for one.

Casa Molina

If paella is your favourite food, Casa Molina is a must-visit. Situated in a charming character house formerly occupied by Mangia Cucina & Bar, the lovely spot serves up authentic Spanish dishes by Chef Javier Blanc of Paella Guys, and the bar seating is perfect for a solo meal out.

Lobby Lounge & RawBar

It’s always worth popping into the Pac Rim lobby lounge or patio for a sip. Enjoy the bar seating and get ready to people watch, or indulge in some top-notch sushi in the of their cozy lounge chairs.

R&B Ale & Pizza House

Knock back a couple of lagers or sours under chilli pepper lights at one of Mount Pleasant’s best breweries. The R&B patio is single-seating, so you’re guaranteed an awkward-free space to enjoy a brew after work or in between meeting friends.

Dachi

The menu at Dachi changes from day to day, which makes for a thoroughly exciting dining experience, even if you’re dining solo. Come for the wine and sake, and stay for the relaxed, dog-friendly patio.

For a more intimate, cozy setting, head to Mercato di Luigi, which operates as a one-stop shop for groceries, fresh pasta, and espresso. With pasta lunches that change every day, you can bet there’s always something exciting and new to taste.
