While Calgary’s newest country bar isn’t what ‘avocado on toast’ fans would consider s ‘traditional Sunday brunch’ it is a tasty one with a simple- yet effective menu, spirited drinks and an atmosphere worth getting dressed for!

A sake mimosa? Yep, you heard that right! This season, spring into action at Calgary’s Sensei Bar, where their mid-morning food (especially their Belgian Leige Waffles) is incredible and the drinks are a solid 10/10.

While it’s worth noting that their menu is extensive and delicious – it’s OEB’s drink menu that we’d like to focus on today. From beermosas to an entire mimosa flight, rummosas and various sangria flavours – it’s clear that these guys know how to throw a mid-morning party and we love that. With a selection of unreal eats and their iconic boozy shakes, Reds gets a 10/10 from us any day, anytime – however, there’s something really special about going there on a Sunday morning. This weekend hit their diner in Ramsay to enjoy your brunch on the patio!

Monki Bistro has an extensive brunch menu that includes everything from bennies and wicked french toast, but our favourite items have to be that of the liquid variety. With a list that includes their showstopper mimosa, badass mimosa and their beermosa we can almost guarantee you’ll walk (or stumble) away happy.
