As many Canadians look to domestic travel to try and make their dollar go further, an Alberta hamlet seems to have caught many folks’ attention to visit.
According to Airbnb, searches for domestic stays in 2025 are up nearly 20 per cent compared to last year, with many Canadians looking to explore their own backyard.
Based on internal Airbnb data of trending domestic searches Canadian travellers made in 2024 for Spring 2025 compared with searches made the year before, Sherwood Park ranked as a top trending domestic destination.
Earlier this year, a company headquartered in Sherwood Park landed in the top 25 best employers in Canada according to Forbes, we love to see it!
