Summer is probably our favourite season in the city. Not only do we see less rain (more or less), but we get to enjoy our beaches, get out to nature, and experience free festivals. And there is one more to add to the list: Shakespeare in the Park.

Because we love free outdoor experiences like the Movies in the Park, Shakespeare in the Park is a performance not to miss this summer.

Kicking off on Thursday, June 27th, and running until Sunday, August 4th, the Seattle Shakespeare Company hosts free, outdoor performances of classical plays in parks throughout the Puget Sound region.

So grab a picnic, bring your friends and family, and check out free Shakespeare in the parks!

This season, Seattle performances include:

Saturday, July 6th at Columbia City Community Park, 4721 Rainier Blvd S
Sunday, July 7th at the Seattle Center Broad Street Lawn, 350 Broad St
Sunday, July 14th at Volunteer Park Amphitheatre, 1247 15th Ave E
Friday, July 26th at Columbia City Community Park, 4721 Rainier Blvd S

No tickets are needed for performances, and seating is on a first-come, first-seated basis. Donations will be welcomed after performances.
