If you consider yourself a junker, thrifter, or lover of old things then you probably know about Pacific Galleries. You also probably know that it was set to close forever at the end of August. But if you didn’t know that, have no fear because it’s returning as Lander Street Vintage next month.
Pacific Galleries aka Lander Street Vintage has been one of Seattle’s premier destinations for all things antiques basically forever. It’s actually Seattle’s oldest antique mall and that’s why losing it would have been such a blow to the city. Luckily, antique dealer and owner of nearby Epic Antiques, Tom Gorz, has stepped in to save the day.

This news is great for both dealers and customers alike as it means many more years of antique goodness to come. Now as the change of hands happened pretty quickly, it’s likely that Lander Street Vintage will take time to come into its final form. It also means that you will probably see old favorite vendors but also that some might move on to different forms of selling.
Whatever the case may be, it’s exciting to see that Seattle is holding on to one of its original antique hot spots. At the moment, Lander Street Vintage is set to open on October 1st and you can stay in the know by following their Instagram here. If you need more deets though you can click below.
