We love hearing about the return of major events especially when they’re something that we know the city loves. On that note, PAX West is back and in person this year which is pretty crazy. Of course, things will look different than years past but we can’t wait to welcome this event back to the city this September.

In case you’re unfamiliar with the event it’s pretty much the gaming and game culture event. It was born across the lake in Bellevue in 2004 and has gotten bigger and bigger each year. This year it will take place September 3rd-6th at the Washington State Convention Center and will have a lowered event capacity to keep attendees safe. That being said, things are still subject to change.

We are certainly keeping our fingers crossed that the event can happen in person as it’d be a win for both the community and large-scale events. To put things in perspective, PAX East is still happening digitally this year so an in-person event for the West is a big deal. Obviously, things like this can happen thanks to our vaccination rate and also state regulations.

If you are interested in attending PAX West you should be able to purchase tickets within the next two weeks. You can expect tickets to cost $230 for a full four-day pass or around for $60 an individual day. If you’d like to learn more or keep up with PAX you can click here. Have a great week, folks!
