Seattle part of “Ultimate Bucket List” cruise spanning 3 continents in 31 days

Looking ahead to big travel plans this year and beyond? If hitting the open ocean is part of your idea of new adventures, then you don’t want to miss out on a new cruise offering from Carnival. The cruise line has just announced one of its longest journeys ever, and Seattle is part of the trip.

The once-in-a-lifetime 31-day cruise on the Carnival Luminosa takes guests to three continents. The cruise beings in Brisbane, Australia, and ends right here in Seattle, Washington.

The trip departs from  Brisbane, Australia, on April 1st, 2024 and includes the following port visits: Guam; Okinawa, Hiroshima, Yokohama (Tokyo), Aomori and Kushiro, Japan; Seward, Juneau and Ketchikan, Alaska, and a cruise through the Hubbard Glacier and ending in Seattle, Washington on May 1st, 2024.

It’s also worth noting that the sailing’s stop in Okinawa, Japan will mark Carnival’s first-ever visit there so you can be a part of history.

What’s more, this new addition to the Carnival Journeys program is now one of the longest and most varied itineraries in Carnival’s 50-year history.

“This itinerary reads like a travel lover’s wish list. This transpacific voyage on Carnival Luminosa is a truly unique offering,” said President of Carnival Cruise Line, Christine Duffy.

It’s worth noting that the cruise line has a similar 30 trip that begins in Seattle and ends in Brisbane that they are running this year from September 14th-October 15th.

Bookings for both trips are currently open and available with prices staring at $3,689 per person.
