Looking for some new reads this fall? Seattle has plenty of great bookstores but you can never go wrong with the library. Especially when they’re having not one but three used book sales with tons of reads under $5. Here’s where to find them.
The sales are being put on by the Friends of The Seattle Public Library, a non profit, grassroots organization dedicated to elevating the Library and inspiring the love of reading in local communities.
The first sale takes place on Saturday, September 9th and then again on Thursday, September 21st at the Georgetown location.
Keep in mind the first sale only takes credit cards which means no cash.
The third sale takes place on Saturday, September 23rd at the Beacon Hill Branch. At the second sale you’ll also be able to purchase literary gifts.
Both sales feature books ranging in price from $2-$4 with reads for people of all ages. If you happen to have an overflowing personal library the first will also accept up to three boxes of re-sellable books.
