U.S. News just released a new list of the best places to travel alone in 2023. And guess what? Seattle made the cut! While its not a numbered ranking, it’s great to see Seattle recognized among so many other great cities. Here’s why we made the cut.

Seattle ranked among 32 other cities and countries, other west coast cities like cities like Portland, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, and San Diego also made the list.

U.S. News noted Seattle as a “vibrant city full of natural beauty.” They suggested that travellers utilize the Link light rail to reach downtown from the airport. But they also gave a shout ot to our cities many other modes of transportation like the monorail, buses and streetcars.

As for what to do in Seattle, they suggested that people visit the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, the original Starbucks and the Olympic Sculpture Park. Great options but a real tourist starter pack if you will.
