Seattle is known for many industries at this point, coffee, aviation, tech, you name it. It also turns out that our city is ready for the future. Point2 has ranked Seattle the most future ready city in the entire US.

In order to determine the ranking, Point2 analyzed the 100 largest cities in the United States with 30 key metrics across five categories. These categories include Business & Technology, Internet Connectivity, Environment & Sustainability, Transit & Mobility, and Economy & Demographics.

The top 10 future ready cities in the US are as follows:

Seattle is number one! According to Point2's report, our city ranks highly in "number of startups, invention patents, annual median income, the influx of population with a bachelor’s degree, and even bikeability."

That's not all though, they also add that Seattle is the "fastest-growing city for technology and information BAs." Of course, our industry giants like Microsoft, Amazon, and Starbucks coupled with the surrounding natural beauty help to solidify Seattle's status as a major global business player and a liveable city.
