Our city’s cherry blossoms are in bloom and that means it’s time for the Seattle Cherry Blossom & Japanese Cultural Festival at Seattle Center. The festival happens each year at Seattle Center, and celebrates the cherry blossoms as well as Japanese culture.
The festival takes place this weekend April 14th-16th, which is of course the peak blooming season for the cherry blossoms. Besides seeing the blooms, attendees can expect a vibrant and colorful celebration that features a range of activities and performances that showcase Japanese art, culture, and traditions.

For those interested in Japanese cuisine, there are numerous food vendors offering authentic Japanese dishes such as sushi, ramen, and udon noodles. The festival also features a lively marketplace where attendees can shop for Japanese crafts, clothing, and other unique souvenirs.
Best of all, the festival is free to attend. Whether you are a fan of Japanese culture or simply looking for a fun and unique experience, the festival is definitely worth checking out.
