The biggest new addition to this year’s festival is the Seattle Christmas Market – a “European-inspired outdoor Christmas village and community marketplace”

On opening day, you can head to the International Fountain and watch as five artists create works of art in ice.

You’ll also be able to check out the Winter Train which has been on display annually for 40 years. The 19th-century model train and village display will be installed inside the Armory Food & Event Hall as always.

There will also be the Winterfest World Bazaar, with goods created by the Festal community partners. What’s more, you’ll be able to shop from a rotating roster of vendors.

Finally, you’ll be able to enjoy an array of performances on the Armory Stage.

Each day of Winterfest has something different to offer and what makes it extra great is that it is totally free to attend. Keep in mind, if you plan to attend the Seattle Christmas Market, you will have to pay admission.
