While we’d love to see Seattle take first place, it’s great to see our rainy city line up among many other world-class ski destinations. Seattle’s ranking was influenced by local urban attractions like the Space Needle, and Pike Place Market, and cultural associations like our coffee and music scenes.

When it comes to skiing, the ranking mentioned The Summit at Snoqualmie as the best local spot to visit. After all, it’s only 48 minutes from Seattle and is home to the largest night skiing area in the nation as well as a mountaintop restaurant. Does it get much better than that?

Enjoy the ski season, Seattle!
