Seattle just ranked among the best food destinations in the US & here are our city’s fave spots

To many, Seattle is a foodie city, our city has an abundance of amazing local produce, restaurants and chefs. So it only makes sense that Seattle has been ranked one of Trip Advisor’s 2023 Traveler’s Choice picks for the Best Food Destinations in the US.

Traveler’s Choice awards are fun because ultimately they come from people just like you! Trip Advisor looks at people’s reviews of city’s their activities, restaurants and more to compile these rankings.

The top ten food destinations in the US are as follows:

1. New Orleans, Louisiana
2. Charleston, South Carolina
3. New York City, New York
4. Savannah, Georgia
5. Maui, Hawaii
6. San Diego, California
7. Nashville, Tennesse
8. Boston, Massachusetts
9. San Francisco, California
10. Asheville, North Carolina

Obviously Seattle isn’t in the top ten but we aren’t far off. We came in twelfth place and interestingly enough, Trip Advisors bio of our rainy city doesn’t actually mention any food except for Pike Place Market and Starbucks. While iconic, they aren’t really the star of the show in this case.

If you take a look at Seattle’s top restaurants, according to Trip Advisor, they are as follows:

2. The Pink Door
3. Chan Seattle
4. Tilikum Place Cafe
5. Spinasse
