Spooky season is nearly here and in 2023 the early bird will get the worm… and a free costume!

This year, ScreamFest Calgary will attempt to break the World Record for most people in one place dressed as horror villain Jason Voorhees and, to do so, they’ve got something extra special in store for guests.

According to their social media, the first 1,000 people to attend the event on Friday, October 13th (of course), will be given a complimentary mask and plastic machete, all in hopes of taking the title – and putting Calgary’s biggest Halloween event on the map internationally.
