Here’s how Torontonians can skate & shoot hoops where the Leafs & Raptors play

Scotiabank Arena is celebrating its 25th anniversary in a fun way! On February 20th, the arena will be opening its doors and offering the opportunity to skate on the ice that the Toronto Maple Leafs call home and shoot around in the Toronto Raptors’ private in-venue practice court.

Here’s everything you need to know about all the festivities.

Scotiabank Arena, which was known as the Air Canada Centre before it was renamed in 2017, is opening its doors to the community on February 20th, offering everyone the chance to skate and shoot hoops where the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors play.

There will even be appearances from Maple Leafs and Raptors alumni, who will participate in the event and share experiences from their moments at Scotiabank Arena.

“Over the past 25 years, we have had the privilege of hosting over 80 million fans at over 5,000 events from multiple NHL and NBA playoff runs, to best-selling shows and concerts, to most recently the 2024 NHL All-Star Weekend,” said Cynthia Devine, President & Chief Executive Officer, MLSE.

“Scotiabank Arena has been at the heart of countless special moments in our city and we look forward to facilitating even more memories for our teams, our visiting performers and our fans within the walls of one the top venues in the world.”

Tickets to skate or shoot at this event cost $5 and will be used as a donation to the MLSE Foundation. Guests can choose from four time slots either 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM, 5:00 PM OR 6:00 PM. Grab your tickets here.
