What to know

“Bringing Scandinave Spa to Edmonton is a natural fit with our vision to create unforgettable wellness experiences in iconic destinations. We’re proud to be part of Alberta’s tourism future and to offer Edmontonians a unique way to unwind, year-round,” says Steve Arsenault, president and CEO of Scandinave Group, in a press release.

This new spa destination is going to nestle in the Brander Gardens neighbourhood, just 20 minutes from downtown Edmonton. Overlooking the stunning North Saskatchewan River, the site offers spectacular views of the natural surroundings.

Scandinave Group is committed to its mission of offering a haven of peace and pure bliss. It aligns with the age-old Scandinavian tradition where body and mind find peace.

This new spa will mark the fifth location nationwide, the first in Alberta, and reinforces the group’s vision of becoming Canada’s premier spa and leisure experience. With 25 years of expertise in spa design, construction and management, they are eager to start.

“Having played for the Oilers in the 90s, Edmonton holds a special place in my heart. I’m thrilled to see Scandinave Spa become part of the City’s vibrant future. For me, this project is more than just a development. It’s a way to give back to the community and help position Edmonton as a premier wellness destination,” affirms Vincent Damphousse, co-founder and executive chairman of the Scandinave Group Board.

The last news was from July 2025, so stay tuned for more information on this fabulous facility.
