This Ontario park has a beach with pristine sand and calm blue waters

We’re here with another beautiful, sandy beach that is just waiting for you to enjoy. Beaches in Ontario seem almost endless, but Turkey Point Provincial Park is one to explore.

About a two-hour drive southwest of Toronto is Turkey Point, Ontario, and its provincial park.

According to Ontario Parks, this little piece of nature caters to everyone’s needs whether that be camping, hiking, supporting local businesses, or simply a day at the beach.

Turkey Point has three hiking trails within or near the park. Lookout Bluff Trail ends on the edge of the bluff overlooking Long Point Bay; Fin & Feather Trail guides you along the old hatchery pond to the Normandale Fish Hatchery; Oak Savanna Trail is a shorter, much easier walk.

Other available activities include biking, birding, canoeing, and fishing. But we’re here to talk about the beach.

Per Ontario Parks, the beach is located in the village, steps away from local restaurants and shops.

It has a two-kilometre-long shoreline, offering a ton of space for families to find a spot away from the hustle and bustle.

“The beach is very sandy and safe for swimmers, especially children. There are no lifeguards posted so parents and guardians must be responsible,” states Ontario Parks.

It’s never a dull moment here in Ontario so go out and explore this beautiful province, you deserve it.
