While details on this year’s CelticFest are still in the works, the quintessential celebration is taking place from March 11th to March 18th this year, and includes a two-day festival at the Vancouver Art Gallery on Friday, March 17th and Saturday, March 18th. The Road to Dublin: St. Paddy’s Weekend Party – Freehouse Collective
The Road to Dublin: St. Paddy’s Weekend Party is set to shake things up at Freehouse Collective pubs across the city. From special menus and entertainment to a grand prize draw for a trip to Dublin, there is plenty of fun to be had. Revellers can enjoy features on Guinness, Harp, and Jameson all weekend along with a menu of Irish favourites like corned beef hash, colcannon, bangers & mash.
Scratch tickets are also available with the opportunity to instantly win food, drink, and gift cards.

Sea to Sky Gondola is celebrating the occasion with Brews with Views, featuring live music from Celtic band, the Whiskeydicks. From 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm on Friday, March 17th, visitors can enjoy a slew of local craft beer and ciders, along with culinary Irish-inspired favourites like Bison Shepherd’s Pie, Beef and Guinness Stew, and Ale Cake with Brown Butter Apple Sauce, to name a few.

Saint Patrick’s Day at Vancouver Odd Fellows
The historic Vancouver Odd Fellows Hall is hosting a night of Irish entertainment and dancing on Saturday, March 18th, as a fundraiser for the Make-a-Wish foundation. The event will commence at 7 pm and include live music by Canada’s leading Celtic Folk rock band, Blackthorn, as well as the Watt Irish Dancers.
