Ryan Reynolds’ Aviation Gin just sold for over $600 million

If you follow Vancouver’s Ryan Reynolds on any social media platform, we’re sure you’ve seen Aviation Gin. The company, owned partly by Mr. Deadpool himself, is being bought by Diageo for roughly $610 million. A giant chunk of change if you ask us!

While also being a quickly growing gin brand, Aviation also has some of the most hilarious ads out there. Not only has Reynolds made a fake Amazon review of the product, but also a hilarious video where he plays his own twin interviewing himself about Aviation. Check it out here.

Reynolds has been a part of the premium gin brand for around two years and will still have part ownership after the deal. Which is great because we’re looking forward to more of his hilarious advertisements.

Diageo also bought George Clooney’s tequila brand in 2017. Maybe this will mean a Cloon-dog and Reynold booze-related crossover sometime soon.

Now, if you need us we’ll be fixing ourselves a martini with some premium gin.
