We’re starting off with one of our fave spots to unwind on a BC staycation. With extremely spacious condo-style rooms that still feel cozy and intimate, you definitely can’t go wrong at Watermark in Osoyoos. And with that stunning blue water just steps from the resort, you’ll never want to leave. Picture lazy mornings watching the sunrise from your balcony, going for leisurely walks along the promenade, and of course, indulging in fine dining (and some of the best wine in the Valley) at Park 15 Bistro.

Oh, and they have pet-friendly rooms too if you and your S/O want to bring your fur baby along!

Ranked as the #1 resort in BC last year, Nita Lake Lodge in Whistler is a top-notch stay, perfect for special occasions. The resort is renowned for its classic winter hospitality in a modern, boutique hotel space. Surrounded by a stunning glacier-fed lake and the vibrant village of Creekside, Nita Lake makes for the ultimate getaway from the city’s hustle and bustle. Whether you’re in it for the hot springs, the resort and complimentary breakfast, or both – Halycon Hot Springs is a gorgeous destination. The hot springs’ focus lies on the healing qualities of their mineral-rich pools. With reasonable day rates and a waterfront location on Upper Arrow Lake, it’s definitely worth planning a weekend trip around.

Stroll along the beach all day hand-in-hand, then order some takeout from in town and enjoy it on your balcony. Or, if you’re going for more of an AirStream vibe – check out their vintage ‘Zedstreams’ in Victoria.
