Valentine’s voyage: These are the most romantic cities in Canada

This February, people from coast to coast will be celebrating their friendships, relationships and situationships, but who will have the most luck impressing their significant other?

Though all wonderful in their own way, some cities in Canada are just more romantic than others and PlayOJO has revealed its top 10 just in time for Valentine’s Day!

“Romance comes in many forms, but there are some things that are sure to boost your odds of meeting your match,” they explain.

For this reason, they looked at some of the best date spots and how many existed per 100,000 people in cities across the nation.

As for what they found? Well, it was interesting!

By taking into account the number of jewellers, florists, chocolatiers, cinemas and urban parkland, they found that Vancouver, BC was the most loved-up destination.

“Vancouver is an incredible city, full of romantic locations to either take your partner or for a show-stopping first date,” they wrote.

“There are lots of amazing spots to stop for a snack if you have a sweet tooth such as Beta5 Chocolates, famous for their beautifully designed cream puffs. If you do find yourself in Downtown Vancouver, Stanley Park is a must-visit. The picturesque space is surrounded by the beautiful waters of the English Bay and Burrard Inlet.”
