This is Edmonton’s only roller rink and it’s absolutely massive

There’s only one roller rink in Edmonton, and it’s the biggest in Canada.

Rollers Roller Rink is Canada’s largest indoor roller rink, and also happens to be the only one in Edmonton. This roller rink offers a huge indoor space, complete with lockers, rentals, food and beverage, as well as a roller shop for all your skating needs. It’s the go-to spot for anything and everything rollerskating, so let’s check it out.

What to expect

Located on the north side of the city, this roller rink is tucked away with lots of parking and space.

Wondering about admission prices? It’s $25 for entry, including lockers for use (just remember to bring your own lock). This does not include rental skates or gear, however, which is $10. On Wednesdays, though, there are free skate and gear rentals from 2 to 10 p.m.

Also, admission and rentals are good for the day, meaning you can leave and come back later if you’re looking for more action.

Indoors is where the fun begins. Once you check in at the counter, leave your shoes, and head inside, there’s a whole world awaiting you.

The rink is absolutely massive, and I can attest to that, having been there myself. With a wide amount of space for skating, a disco ball in the centre of the ceiling, and coloured lights brightening the atmosphere, it’s simply perfect.

To add to the vibes, there are multiple themed nights every month. From disco nights to adults-only evenings, there’s everything you could ever want. If you get hungry while you’re skating, there are also snacks and beverages for purchase indoors.

It’s honestly a wonderland for those looking to get their skates on and start rolling.

As for hours, it’s open every day, but the hours have recently been slightly reduced on weekdays.

On Mondays and Wednesdays, it’s open from 2 to 10 p.m. The reduced hours apply to Tuesdays and Thursdays, when it is open from 2 to 6 p.m. Finally, it’s open from 2 p.m. to midnight on Fridays, 10 a.m. to midnight on Saturdays, and noon to 8 p.m. on Sundays.

Are you ready to roll, folks? I sure am, so let’s head on over.
