The NHL playoffs are nearly here, and the Canucks will soon go head-to-head with some of the best teams in the league. Whether you’ve snagged tickets to a game or have a concert coming up – chances are you’ll be looking for a place to eat or drink near Rogers Arena, so consider this list a great place to start.
Here are some of the best bars and restaurants near Rogers Arena in Vancouver.
With flowing craft beer, cocktails, and tasty BBQ on the menu, you’re sure to satisfy your tastebuds at Devil’s Elbow Ale, which also has a weekday happy hour from 2 to 5 pm.

Frankie’s is not only conveniently located near the arena, but it offers the ideal balance between a relaxed yet polished dining experience. The menu consists of dishes from Southern Italy and wines from BC.

It doesn’t get much closer than inside Rogers Arena itself – and Sportsbar LIVE! is the ideal spot to catch a game. With 100 HD-TV screens surrounding you to capture all the action, you surely won’t miss a thing here.

According to Michelin Guide, this spot was actually originally meant to be a pizzeria – hence the large wood-burning ovens above the room. However, after a pivot to fine dining, diners can enjoy a mix of delicious plates a la carte, as well as pizzas at lunch.

Craving ramen? Taishoken Ramen is close to the arena, serving up delicious bowls amid a comfortable, casual dining atmosphere.

Craving a slice of pizza somewhere more casual? This family-friendly pizzeria is conveniently located inside the International Village Mall, and has tons of board and card games available for use.

During the playoffs, D/6 at Parq Vancouver is set to transform with large flatscreens and a projector screen to capture all of the action, and they’ll offer some solid game-day food and drink features to go with it.

Cozy meets elevated at Per Se Social Corner. The menu is loaded with a diverse spread of burgers, pasta, seafood, and brunch offerings, including their famous brunch burgers. As for pasta, the Michelin Guide recommends the lobster & crab ravioli in chipotle coconut milk.

Fanny Bay’s oysters are world-famous and for very good reason. They have a huge selection of BC oysters at their raw bar, normally priced at $3.50 each. During their daily happy hour from 2 to 6 pm, however, you can get their featured oysters for $2 and their premium featured oysters for $2.75 each.

If you’re looking for something a little more out there and unique, this spot serves up tasty Korean-Mexican tacos and burritos, as well as bibimbop bowls and poutines. So you’ve got plenty to choose from!
