Relive the ‘wheelie’ good times at this weekend’s pop-up roller disco in Calgary

Like many of you, we were left with a disco-ball-sized hole in our hearts when Lloyd’s Roller Rink shut down a few years ago. Luckily, this weekend, we can temporarily fill the void, when Calgary’s Summertime Magic popup glides into town.

Whether you’re an absolute klutz or a total pro on a pair of skates, 15,000 square feet of space, lights and music will be waiting for you in the SE community of Foothills.

If you’d like to attend, this seasonal celebration of sun, fun, and hotpants will kick off on Saturday, July 24th at 6 pm for a family session which will be a great opportunity to bond with your kidlets, before the older crowd gets laced up.

For those who worry about being unable to slow down while on the same floor as a youngin, an after-hours event will pick up shortly after meant for adults only.

No skates? No problem! Rentals will be available at the door for $10 – but comfy socks? Those are on you!

If you’d like to attend you can visit their official website here and snag some tickets now – but don’t hesitate, Calgary!

We have no idea how long these ones are going to last.
