200 identical red chairs are hidden across Canada & here’s where you’ll find Alberta’s

From mountains to valleys, lakes and rivers, the Great North has some incredible things to see but where will you find the best seat in the house?

Meant to get people out and exploring lesser-known locations, 200 red Adirondack chairs have been placed around some of Canada’s most impressive parks and there’s truly nothing like the view you’ll get with your back against the wood.

Set up in historic sites and reserves from coast to coast, travellers are encouraged to connect with nature and take a few photos, all while enjoying a peaceful, day out in the sun, sand or snow.

It all started in 2011 when team members from Gros Morne National Park announced a contest in which travellers had to find 18 hidden destinations marked by cherry-coloured installations, but the project has grown immensely since then.
