The hike is an 8.5-km out-and-back trail that gains 445 feet of elevation. The trailhead starts in a lower park which is equally great to explore and then takes hikers up through forests to a rocky cliff ledge. Here you’ll find great panoramic views making the hike a rewarding one.

The hike takes about 3 hours to complete and is quite a popular trail so don’t expect to have it all to yourself. That being said, it is open year-round and you can bring your dogs but they must be on a leash.

What are you waiting for? Rattlesnake Ledge is free to visit and the perfect hike to add to your weekend plans.
