This scenic mountain village in BC has natural hot springs nestled in a canyon

For hot spring lovers, the scenic Village of Radium Hot Springs is a must-visit any time of the year. But in the summertime, the mountainside community really comes alive.

Situated between the towering peaks of the Purcell Mountains and Canadian Rockies, the small village can be accessed through the famous entrance at Sinclair Canyon, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain vistas.

Zipline your way across the Dry-Gulch Valley via Valley Zip Adventures, bike the Sinclair Creek Loop, paddle down the Columbia River, hike through the nearby Marble Canyon, and uncover some of the oldest fossils in the world at Kootenay National Park.

Speaking of, the village’s namesake hot springs can be found in the national park, where naturally heated mineral water pools sit canyon-side.

Oftentimes, visitors can spot visiting Bighorn sheep grazing nearby!
