Canada’s largest restaurant retractable roof will be at a new Toronto waterfront spot

Toronto’s waterfront is about to get a new dining destination. Queens Harbour will be one of the largest restaurant investments in the history of the waterfront and here’s what to know.

Get ready to enjoy a new restaurant experience on the Queens Quay. A 23,000-square-foot historic brick building will be reimagined into the new hospitality destination, Queens Harbour.

Experienced restaurateurs Kevin Jazexhi, Ali Badreddine, Iris Jazexhi, and Chef Robert Balint are behind this new concept.

Chef Balint has teamed up with local, world-class chef Julien Laffargue “to create a combination of Mediterranean and Asian flavours they affectionately term MediterrAsian cuisine,” shares the brand.

This fusion cuisine will play throughout its menu, along with shared meals that offer an authentic and intimate restaurant experience.

The specialized menu will feature mezzes for sharing, charcoal-grilled dishes, and a full raw and sushi bar.

And of course, what is a restaurant without its handcrafted cocktails that pair deliciously with its food offerings.

As for its interior, according to representatives of the restaurant, the space seats 800 guests, offering a lovely view of the waterfront.

It will also have a huge retractable roof, multiple private dining spaces, an outdoor terrace, and three designed dining spaces with unparalleled views of the CN Tower, the Harbour, and Lake Ontario.

Though we’re excited to step foot inside the restaurant, we’ll have to wait until next spring.

A set date has yet to be announced but we will keep you updated as more information gets released.
