There’s a ranch near Edmonton with putting golf and horse-drawn wagon rides

Giddy up and hop onto a horse at this ranch outside of the city!

Putting Horse Ranch is located just outside of Edmonton, a little north of Spruce Grove, and is just awaiting your arrival. Here, they hold an 18-hole putting course. Not only that, but they offer horse experiences like horse riding and wagon rides. It’s a great experience for families, friends, and dates — perfect for anyone and everyone looking to have a good time outdoors.

If you’re ready to take a trip out of the city and into this fabulous ranch, what are you waiting for? With the weather going nowhere but up, it’s the perfect time to go.

What to expect

The prime experiences at this ranch are the horse experiences.

For $99 plus GST, you can spend time with a horse, brushing and light riding. You can also take private lessons for horse riding if you’re interested! If you’re looking for more of a journey, you’ll probably be looking forward to the horse wagon rides.

Then, there’s the 18-hole putting course. It’s super walkable, user-friendly, and absolutely stunning. Not to mention, there are real live swans on the pond, as well as a waterfall pond! What more could you ask for?

And, if you want to relax after a long day of golfing and horse riding? You can take a break on the patios, or take a bite to eat at its concession. You could also book your own barbecue at the greens, with a minimum of 25 people at $49 per person.

All in all, making the trip outside Edmonton will be completely worth it. It’s going to be a day trip you’re glad you took.
