The bar’s extensive cocktail menu is curated by Beverage Director Jeff Savage (Botanist Bar) and Bar Manager Nicole Cote (AnnaLena, Published on Main), who have created a mix of old-fashioned and modern drinks that take bar patrons on a “cocktail odyssey.”

Each pour is inspired by different writers, poets, musicians, and artists – such as the Ponyboy (Tio Pepe Fino Sherry, Christian Drouin Calvados, and nutmeg) – which is a nod to “The Outsiders.”

These beverages are termed “Short Story” sips, and are small serves meant to be consumed quickly, according to Prophecy.

Guests will be guided to choose from four categories depending on their palate preferences: Spiritous, Refreshing, Herbaceous, or Lush.

As well, there will be a selection of “Free Spirits” crafted without alcohol for guests to sip on.

The bites

In terms of food, Prophecy will offer shareable faves like truffle fries and marinated warm olives, as well as garlic prawns, salmon aburi, fresh oysters, and a decadent A5 Wagyu Katsu Sando, to name a few.

The luxurious cocktail lounge will open its doors in downtown Vancouver on Wednesday, May 22nd, so mark your calendars and book your resos while you can!

Stay tuned for more info as it comes, including more details on its “soon to come” live music program!
