A popular reality show is returning to Canada and it’s looking for contestants

Do you have a passion for fashion and an eye for detail? A few incredible designers from coast to coast will be chosen to appear on Project Runway Canada, which is now casting for the first time since 2009.

“Are you ready to make your mark in the fashion world?” it asks on the CTV casting call page.

“Project Runway Canada is searching for the country’s most talented designers to showcase their creativity, skill and vision on a national runway. Compete for a chance to grow your brand, gain recognition, prove you have what it takes to own the runway.”

What to know before applying

Think you have what it takes?

Whether you have a vision for the future or are inspired by looks of the past, hopefuls are encouraged to send photos of any previously designed garments, a completed application form, and a video introducing themselves to the casting team.

Videos should be between two and four minutes long and show off their personality, as well as their workspace, so don’t be shy!

Filming will begin in July and then wrap mid-September in or around Toronto or the Greater Toronto Area.

As long as you’re 21 years old with Canadian citizenship or are a permanent resident of Canada, you could be among the talented few to be contacted ahead of the show’s premiere, so don’t hesitate.
