Edmonton Pride Month is just around the corner and like so many before it, this year will be a celebration, a statement, and an opportunity to show your support for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

Featuring performances, fun experiences, and dance parties, this June is sure to be one of the most exciting yet – but what exactly should you mark on your calendar?

It all kicks off on May 31st when the Edmonton Drag Festival returns for its second year, this time at Sir Winston Churchill Square.

Following this, there will also be a Drag Fest Extravaganza which will feature several queens from RuPaul’s Drag Race and RuPaul’s Drag Race Canada including Plasma from Nearah Nuff, Kiki Coe, Aimee Yonce, and Melinda Verga.

If of course, you work up an appetite, you could also attend the Ultimate Pink & White Drag Brunch – an Adult only party with Brunch,
performances, a panel discussion, a Werk Room Workshop and games.

In addition, there will also be a Pride Street party in front of the Grindstone Theatre on June 1st, a dance party at the Starlight Room on June 8th, a Glow Party on the 21st, and a series of Queer history tours offered throughout the month.

Can’t make it to some of the exciting things happening this spring?

Pride Week will take place this August, bringing even more inclusive, vibrant, and educational events to the city of champions.
