Calgary is getting an 80,000 square foot entertainment venue & here's when it opens

Exciting things are coming—especially if you’ve got a date night, birthday, or holiday party coming up and aren’t sure where to celebrate! This winter, PowerPlay in Calgary’s Southcentre Mall will open to the public and we finally know when!
An all-in-one entertainment venue with over 80,000 square feet of fun, PowerPlay will have a little something for everyone.
Southcentre Mall is about to get more exciting
In addition to their micro movie theatres and a coffee bar, they will also have high-tech games and interactive simulators.
“PowerPlay is a thrilling addition to Southcentre’s growing entertainment and dining options,” said Abigail Alfonso, General Manager, Southcentre Mall.
“This venue enhances our position as a community hub, offering Calgarians of all ages a vibrant space to connect, relax, and enjoy unforgettable experiences.”
Love sports? Check out their bowling alley or their baseball ‘strike zone’ with a real-time pitching machine and high-speed cameras.
Want to kick it VR style? Their Immersive Gamebox will offer an interactive gaming experience where “players can step into a digital world” without headsets, creating an all-encompassing 360-degree experience.
PowerPlay will put the WIN back in winter, offering plenty to do, see, and eat.
