Ready to kickstart your holiday shopping and want to shop local? The upcoming Portobello West Holiday Market is a great place to start, and it’s coming up this weekend!

Every year, the beloved holiday market takes place at the Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre in the heart of Yaletown, transforming the historic railway station into a gathering of dozens of local makers and artisans. This weekend, you’ll find over 70 vendors, artists, designers, and local producers, which gives you plenty to peruse at your leisure.

From handcrafted jewelry, art pieces, and home decor to locally crafted wine and spirits and gourmet bites, there’s something for everyone here. Attendees can chat with the vendors while learning about their creative processes, all the while enjoying live music and entertainment fit for the whole family.

This includes live indoor acoustic classics, holiday saxophone tunes, and Venezuelan holiday carols outdoors. There will also be an all-ages craft corner, face-painting, and balloon twisting for families.

Oh, and the first 100 people to purchase advance tickets to the market are automatically entered into a $50 shopping spree draw, so it definitely doesn’t hurt to snag your spot online ahead of this weekend.

Adult tickets are $5 per person, and admission is free for children aged 12 and under.

The holiday market takes place on Saturday, Nov. 15 and Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days.

It’s not too late to add this holiday market to your weekend itinerary!
