While we were sad to hear that The Black Lodge was closing, we’re happy to have found out who’s moving in there now. The Thai restaurant Kin Kao has announced that they’ll be taking over the Mount Pleasant space for a second location! Here’s a little more info on what to expect.

Kin Kao has been a Commercial Drive mainstay for years now, offering up tasty Thai dishes with a wine and beer list to match. As an interesting aside, they’ve closed their dining room for close to a year now, and have no immediate plans of reopening it. But, you can still grab the full menu via takeout and delivery.

Which we highly suggest doing. You know, just to get yourself acquainted (or reacquainted) with what they’ve got to offer. While Kin Kao has confirmed that they’re taking over the new space, not much has been said in terms of timeline. And, who are we to deny you a delicious meal while you wait?
