Last summer Calgary was swooning over a new breakfast joint− Bro’s To Go (BTG). With their unbelievably foodgasmic sandwiches, the place soon became a breakfast sandwich hotspot. The only drawback was that it was a pop-up, meaning our foodgasms had an expiration date. But looks like Christmas arrived early for us BTG fans as they dropped the merriest friggin news of the holiday season− after a much anticipated wait, Bro’s To Go now has a permanent location. #BTGPals be rejoicing!

Given the buzz their delicious bites created, it almost seems impossible but just ICYMI, Bro’s To Go is a breakfast joint started by brothers Gil and Jeff Carlos of Bro’Kin Yolk (another YYC fave). The brothers known for their benevolence- to their employees, customers and community- have extended the Bro’Kin Yolk family with this new venture. And we’re not sure about you, but we can’t wait for easy access to Bro’s to Go breakfast sandwiches in Calgary on the reg.

And though we didn’t think it was possible, they somehow managed to out-yolk themselves with their new menu. Adding more awesomeness to the eggcellent Bro’Kin Yolk menu, they introed seven new grab-and-go sandwiches to the BTG menu.

If you’ve been crazy fans of the brand, you might remember these sandwiches from 2018 when they were first tested out. And they’re finally here for us to devour.

Plus, they also brought in some new drinks to the mix. So, there’re the regulars like latte, americano and cappuccino. And then there’re the not-so-regulars like wonder coffee, Vietnamese iced coffee with boba and boba tea. Our recommendation: Viet boba coffee. Definitely worth trying!

BTG even made it easy for us to curb our The Basic B (the bacon and eggwich) craving with online delivery. Skip the Dishes, Uber Eats, Doordash, whichever you prefer. So, you can enjoy your faves on the regular!

As if we needed more reason to be happy, Bro’s To Go will soon be opening a second location for tasty sandwiches in Calgary as well, the deets of which we’ll share soon enough. For now, let us just fill you in on one little secret- the second location is popping up on Cal’s most happening street.

Already craving a BTG? Well, check out their website or their Insta to order your usj or try out something new. Fair warning though, their ‘gram’s tempting as hell and will make you want to eat a BTG right this instant. So, proceed with caution.
