A whimsical ‘Polar Express’ train ride will spread holiday cheer in Alberta this winter

Not only is there a chill in the air, but there’s also magic! This winter, climb aboard the Alberta Prairie Railway’s Polar Express, an enchanting train ride that is sure to make your season bright.

Based entirely on the children’s classic, this hour-long experience is meant for all ages, and will practically bring the book and movie to life.

Set to the official soundtrack, passengers will be encouraged to relive the story, first with a visit to the station platform.

Here, you’ll start your journey, hot chocolate and cookie in hand, surrounded by dancing and singing chefs, followed by a storybook narration.

Finally, after much entertainment, you’ll have arrived at the “North Pole” where you’ll meet Santa and a few of his elves—you might even get a gift!

With Christmas carols and souvenirs, this adventure is not one to be missed—but don’t hesitate.

Adult tickets start at $105 and are on sale now.
