Who’s ready for some classic summer fun? Vancouver’s Playland amusement park at the PNE is set to open for the season this weekend, and now’s a great time to snag some tickets.

Featuring over 30 exciting rides and attractions for visitors of all ages, Playland is a quintessential family experience in the city.

From the historic Wooden Roller Coaster (rated #1 in Canada), to Canada’s most extreme pendulum ride, The Beast, there are plenty of rides to choose from.

New this year? The newly constructed ThunderVolt, which takes passengers on a journey through a mysterious supernatural world on “Canada’s fastest electric launch coaster!”

Note that this is an “Extreme” ride that requires a Thrill Seeker Pass to ride, and opens this July.
