This low-cost airline has trips from Ontario to Iceland for less than $110 right now

Pack your bags!! PLAY Airlines is celebrating World Tourism Day with an offer that’s too good to pass up. Ontario travellers can take advantage of flights to Iceland for as little as $109 before taxes and fees. Here’s everything you need to know.

The deal

“We don’t offer these prices every day but to celebrate World Tourism Day we’re offering flights to Iceland from as little as $109! Seize the day and see the world!” shares PLAY.

Yep – you can travel to one of the most beautiful destinations for the same price as a big night out in your city.

The sale will run from September 26th, 2024 – October 3rd so you don’t have long to book!

The direct flights to Iceland leave from Hamilton, Ontario starting at $109 CAD and from there, you can book additional flights to Europe via Iceland starting at $139 CAD.

The travel date options are as follows:

  • October 13 – October 27, 2024
  • November 10 – December 15, 2024
  • January 12 – March 30, 2025

The European destinations you can book from Iceland include London (London Stansted Airport), Copenhagen (Copenhagen Airport Kastrup), Paris (Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport), Amsterdam (Amsterdam Airport), Berlin (Berlin Brandenburg Airport), and Dublin (Dublin Airport).

The price is only for the PLAY Airlines basic fare per person. The basic fare “allows Canadian travellers to fly with one small personal item in their discount fare and also includes all mandatory taxes, fees, and carrier charges. Additional baggage and other flight perks will cost travellers extra.”

Sounds like a trip to Iceland is in our future! Thanks, PLAY Airlines!
