Have you ever wished that you could experience ice skating in the middle of Seattle’s Pioneer Square? Well, this year you can thanks to the return of the Occidental Square Ice Skating Rink. Here’s what to expect from this year’s experience.
The free synthetic rink is only up for a short time from Friday, December 8th until Sunday, December 10th. It is open to skaters of all ages and skates are provided for free.

The largest seasonal ice skating rink in the region opens in Bellevue Square next month
The rink will be open from 1 PM to 7 PM on Friday and 12 PM to 6 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
While the rink is the main focus, you can also check out a Holiday Market, hosted by the Alliance for Pioneer Square on Friday and Saturday.
There will be over 40 local makers, making it a great spot to pick up holiday gifts as well as goodies for yourself.
So grab a jacket, and some friends and get ready to experience historic Seattle in a new way.
