A new destination to eat, sleep, and play has officially opened outside of the city. Pickering Casino Resort celebrated its grand opening earlier this week with an inaugural show by Canadian music legend Bryan Adams.

The musician performed at the resort’s new 2,500-seat arena, which is among the standout features of this new $500 million casino resort in Pickering, Ontario.

The arena will host live performances, sporting events, and special attractions, making Pickering Casino Resort a “premier entertainment destination.”

But, that’s far from the only draw of this massive resort.

In addition to the luxurious 275-room hotel, the sprawling 96,000-square-foot casino features over 2,000 slot machines, 90 “live” table games, and close to 140 “live dealer” stadium gaming terminals.

The hotel rooms are 25% larger than the average hotel room and there are several to choose from, including 33 elegant suites, a Corner King Suite and Executive Suite.

The hotel also features a wellness centre with a wave pool and sauna, as well as a fitness facility and business centre.

Sports fans can also visit the Great Canadian Sportsbook, a dedicated lounge for watching games, placing bets, and enjoying food and drinks.

It wouldn’t be a casino resort without exceptional dining, and there are several to choose from at Pickering Casino Resort.

The restaurants are helmed by Chef Oliver Heupel, a Master Chef certificate-holder who has worked in Michelin-starred restaurants and cooked for Queen Elizabeth II. The Dalai Lama, Elton John, and Tina Turner.

The dining options include the Copperhorn Meet House steakhouse, legendary Chinese seafood restaurant Sun Sui Wah, CA·SU·AL gastropub, Rock House Grill all-day cafe, and ZIOs Italian which serves up delicious dishes until 2 AM.
